The origin of the word ‘Spring’ is Germanic. It means to “to leap, burst forth, fly up; spread, and grow.” Everything about this season is connected to moving forward in life, which is my favorite aspect. The sun shines just a bit brighter, the flowers begin to bloom, creating a sense of hope and curing seasonal depression. Be sure to seize every opportunity thrown your way.
I think we can all agree that the weather is a bit confusing during spring. But all the rain, humidity, and chilling temperatures at dusk are needed to allow things to bloom. Although this is my LEAST favorite time of year (Im not a fan of warmer temperatures), I must say that spring represents something higher than my dissatisfaction of the season.
So, allow life to happen, and know that everything will work in your favor. We often forget that everyday is a new start, and it’s never too late as long as you’re alive. It’s important to go through it, feel it, and always move forward. Like spring, let your blessings bloom.
My pants are from H&M. I got them on sale for only $9. It was such a steal that they’re all sold out. Here’s a pant with a similar fit. If you have hips like me, I reccommend buying one size up so it can fall nicely on you. If the waist is too big, you can always tailor it.
